Current maturity: strong preclinical proof-of-concept
Supported by human phenotype and lineage-associated differentiation data and mouse in-vivo hematopoietic contribution evidence. Definitive human LT-HSC identity, reproducibility and clinical utility remain to be established.
What the reviewed evidence demonstrates
- Conversion route. A defined workflow converts adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cells toward hematopoietic states, without introducing exogenous genes (patent-described).
- Human HSPC-associated phenotype. Converted human cells are reported positive for CD34, CD90 and CD49f.
- Lineage-associated output. Erythroid-associated differentiation (CD235a, fetal-Hb) reported after differentiation conditions; partial.
- Mouse in-vivo contribution. Donor-derived hematopoietic output detected after transplantation - meaningful supporting evidence, not definitive proof.
What comes next
The programme's proof-building now focuses on three questions: Identity - what exactly did we make; Repeatability - does it work across donors, batches and operators; Function - what can the output actually do. We are not spending the next cycle merely re-proving that the phenomenon exists.
What it is not
BLOOD REBUILD is not a therapy, not a blood product, and not available for any clinical, transfusion or diagnostic use. Marker positivity is not functional HSC identity, and no clinical efficacy has been shown. See Evidence & status.
